Classically Picturesque - Transfer by Train
The quintessential train trip, especially that Coastal Classic route from Seward to Anchorage. Both Adventure Class and GoldStar Dome service available on the Seward trains. Whittier trains only offer Adventure Class.
- Alaska Railroad Seward to Anchorage - 6pm to 10:15pm
- Alaska Railroad Whittier to Anchorage - 6:45pm to 9pm (only recommended if you've pre-booked a day tour that complements this later departure since Whittier is very small)
Efficient Scenery - Transfer by Motorcoach
Enjoy a comfortable ride aboard the Park Connection Motorcoach. Motorcoaches are equipped with reclining seats, seatbelts, footrests, armrests, outlets, and lavatory. Same-day service to/from cruise ships also available from Denali National Park and Talkeetna.
- Bus Seward to Anchorage - 9:45am to 12:30pm (picks up at the terminal, select cruise ship days only) or 10:30am to 1:30pm
- Bus Whittier to Anchorage - 9:45am to 12pm
Stop and Sightsee - Transfer by Guided Tour
Visit to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, stop for lunch, and enjoy narration by a driver-guide. These are smaller group transfers in a Sprinter van.
- Seward to Anchorage Tour & Transfer - 8am to about 4:30pm
- Whittier to Anchorage Tour & Transfer - 8:45am to about 2:45pm
